1.
Eating Time
- Students
are to remain in their own seat during the entire lunch eating
time unless they have permission from the duty teacher 12:15
- 12:35 (except in emergency situations, ie. sickness).

- Students
are to wait for the 12:15 duty teacher to dismiss them for
their play time at 12:15
|
- A reasonable
noise level is expected during eating time. This means using
a normal speaking voice.
|
- upon
dismissal, students should be reminded to clean up their desk
area and dispose of their garbage.
|
2.
Behavior In the Halls
- Keep
to the right when moving around the school.
|
- There
is to be no pushing, shoving or running in the hallways.
|
- Students
must walk in single file. no side by side.
|
- All
belongings must be neatly placed in the designated areas.
(ie. coats in lockers or on hooks - shoes neatly stored)
|
- When
moving between classes there is to be no talking.
|
- When
moving to lunch time activities, a reasonable noise level
is expected.
|
- Students
must refrain from touching displays, personal belongings,
clocks, etc.
|
- First
person to a door when moving through the school should hold
the door for those behind.
|
3.
Outside Play Time
- Reasonable
noise levels are expected.
|
- There
is to be no running, pushing, shoving or rough play. Students
are expected to use their playtime constructively. (Hide &
Seek, tag, hackie sac, floor hockey and war games are not
permitted)

- Permission
to leave the classroom must be obtained from the duty teacher
(except in emergency situations. (ie. sickness)
|
- There
is to be no visiting from classroom to classroom.
|
- No
ghetto blasters are to be used.
|
- No
writing on the chalkboard.
|

General Behavior
- Students
must show respect for each other and each other's property.
(ie ask before you borrow)
- speak
politely
- play
fair
- share

- When
addressing teachers and other adults children should show
proper respect. (ie. Mr., Miss, Mrs., Mr.)
|
- Students
should be mindful of their manners at all times. (ie. excusing
themselves when passing in front of someone, using please
and thank you.)
|
- When
finished with personal and school belongings, students must
return the to the appropriate place.
|
- Students
are expected to dress appropriately. This includes wearing
indoor sneakers while in school and suitable clothing for
the weather. Please consider when purchasing footwear that
certain kinds of soles leave marks on our floors.
|
- Students
are to remove caps and outside clothing in school.
|
- Offensive
language and gestures will not be tolerated. This includes
messages on T-shirts and hats. Parents are asked to use discretion
when selecting clothing.

- There
is to be no gum or gum chewing in school or on the bus. This
includes field trips.
